Each Thanksgiving morning in downtown Harrisonburg, runners of all levels gather for the annual Rocktown Turkey Trot and Gobble Gobble Kids Dash. The timed four-mile course loops through Court Square twice. Younger participants race in the kid-friendly dash before the main event. The race encourages community giving with a food collection for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. Everyone can don festive gear and enjoy a fun, fitness-focused start to the holiday.
